John Kessler of Accenture Joins Workcred Board of Directors

Workcred is pleased to announce that John Kessler of Accenture has joined the Workcred Board of Directors for a three-year term, effective immediately.

Mr. Kessler leads Accenture's Certification Center of Expertise and is responsible for Accenture's certification strategy to credential thousands of professionals annually in industry, functional, and technical areas of expertise. He has more than 15 years of experience in designing, deploying, and ensuring the security of certification programs. Under his leadership, Accenture has quadrupled their certification offerings while patenting industry-leading test security and infrastructure improvements. He is responsible for supporting more than 100,000 active employees pursuing a certification in one of Accenture's 80 internal programs, as well as designing new and innovative credentialing solutions that help Accenture's employees develop the market-relevant skills needed to be successful.

Prior to joining Accenture, Mr. Kessler served as an operations consultant for George Group, a privately-owned consulting company that supported many of the Fortune 500 companies' journey to operational excellence. He has served as Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt for ITT Corporation and manager of Lean Sigma for Maytag Corporation where he worked closely with the executive teams to lead project selection workshops that aligned operational excellence efforts with strategic goals. Mr. Kessler holds a B.S. in engineering from Virginia Tech.
