Overview

On May 15, Workcred hosted its second federal training session, Building a Federal Workforce through Quality Credentialing, in Washington DC. The event provided training and key insights for federal employees involved in managing, leading, or creating credentialing programs, including chief learning officers, training officers, and HR professionals.

Highlights of the event included:
  • Keynote speaker Jane Oates, Assistant Secretary of Employment and Training at the U.S. Department of Labor (2009-2013)
  • Presentations on federal credentialing models and initiatives
  • An educational session on certification and continuing competency
  • Interactive roundtable discussions on key credentialing issues
